Castle Leslie lies in the quaint little village of Glaslough, County Monaghan. From the moment you enter the Estate you’re bombarded with beauty and grandeur at every turn. Set on over one thousand acres of beautiful countryside, and with a variety of accommodation and activities, it’s easy to see why it’s one of the most sought after venues in Ireland.
We were therefore delighted to be invited along to capture the wedding of Joseph & Crona. The beauty of the Castle were a familiar sight for Crona as her family home is merely just a few miles away. We shared the morning with both the Bride and Groom in separate locations before making our way to the historic Monaghan Cathedral for their much anticipated nuptials.
Surrounded by family and friends the pair said their I Do’s and made the short journey back to Castle Leslie where the celebrations were about to begin. With the weather a little unpredictable we decided to take the couple out for some intimate portraits in the charming grounds of the estate. Crona’s style, the beautiful blooms and such gorgeous surroundings all complimented each other so well and was only helped by the couple’s relaxed attitude.
Once we had taken some more formal family and bridal party shots the bridal party even had time for some ‘shots’ of their own. A little dutch courage before the speeches didn’t hurt.
As the night rolled in the wedding rocked out to the sounds of the Camembert Quartet. What a way to top off one awesome wedding day.
