Drenagh Estate features a lot on our blog for a very simple reason. It’s amazing and will always be one of our favourite places to work.
We had the absolute pleasure of capturing Aoife and Bilgin’s big day at Drenagh and we are so thrilled to share it with you all. This was a truly International affair with guests coming from all over Europe and beyond so choosing the right venue was key for the couple. Aoife explains,
“Drenagh has everything. The timeless moody interior of the Georgian house, the dense and wild Italian Gardens and the flowers that come in June. We knew it would make for the perfect photos, and we knew that our family and friends would love it.”
The perfect setting deserved the perfect dress and Aoife’s choice was all that and more. I think we fell in love with it as much as her. A Grace Loves Lace piece named ‘Inca’ travelled all the way from Australia and arrived in time. Ordering a wedding dress online can be a bit of a risk but I think we all agree that it more than paid off. A real boho beauty!
Aoife and Bilgin were such a naturally enchanting couple to shoot as well as being super chilled. You could tell they were just enjoying every part of their day.
“We wanted to just have fun and enjoy our time with everyone with a relaxed feel. From our ceremony in the Moon Garden to having our photos taken during the rain in the wild gardens, the whole day was like a dream.”
